Gunpowder 14 Ounce Selvedge
This deep black fabric is dyed using some of the same ingredients used to make gunpowder and can fade to a high contrast white over time just like indigo dyed denim. This fabric is RAW and therefore is likely to shrink a bit after the first wash. We recommend starting with a slightly loose fit when you first purchase them.
Shiroyama 18 Ounce Selvedge
This heavy Japanese fabric has a slightly slubby looking texture due to the white weft thread being a heavier weight than the indigo dyed warp thread. This garment has been rinse-washed, meaning that the indigo dye is only slightly lightened while preventing shrinkage. We recommend beginning with a snug but comfortable fit at the waist of these jeans.
